About Me

I see my life as an extended apprenticeship. My first apprenticeship was 6,000 hours of hands-on onions, whisks and wooden spoons to qualify as a red seal journeyman. The next apprenticeship extended 75,000 hours, as a senior leader with a fortune 500 company where I puzzled efficient solutions to myriad problems, built a team of subject matter experts,  streamlined workflow, drove costs down and quality up.

My most recent apprenticeship is in writing creative non fiction while expanding my management consulting practice. The convergence of pleasurable writing and sharing my hard earned lessons with clients is rewarding work and provides me with the flexibility to pursue the next story.

I have been a storyteller for as long as I remember. Now, I pursue this endeavour daily in the pleasurable discipline of writing.
